S/S Ariosto of the Wilson Line
The picture of the month this time is from an old postcard. It shows emigrants departing Gothenburg on the S/S Ariosto of the Wilson Line. The Ariosto brought the emigrants from Gothenburg to Hull in England. From Hull the emigrants went by train to Liverpool, where they would board the transatlantic steamer.
