She was sailing in ballast, and was carrying 280 steerage passengers and 1 cabin passenger. It was a smooth voyage. She was mastered by Capt. Thorvaldsen and had a crew of 17. The passenger list is archived by the National Archives of Canada [NAC]. In 1867 the bark Tanaro departed from Risør Apr. 17th, and arrived at Quebec May 18th. She was carrying 35 passengers. Master was Capt. Thorvildsen. The passenger list is archived by the National Archives of Canada [NAC]. In 1868 she departed from Risør Apr. 20th, and arrived at Quebec May 31st. She was carrying 89 passengers [page missing]. Master: Capt. Thorvildsen. The passenger list is archived by the National Archives of Canada [NAC]. In 1869 the Tanaro departed from Risør Apr. 10th, and arrived at Quebec May 16th. She was sailing in ballast, and was carrying 70 steerage passengers and 2 cabin passengers. All well at arrival. There was one birth on the voyage. The Tanaro was mastered by Capt. Thorvildsen and had a crew of 16 [poor list]. In 1870 Bark Tanaro arrived at Quebec, from Risør in ballast. She was carrying 67 steerage passengers, all well. There was One birth on the voyage; June 6th, son of Hans T. Andersen (31) and Karen Torine (24) ... baptized June 12th, named Ole Torval. The Tanaro was mastered by Capt. Thorvildsen, with a crew of 15. The passenger list is archived by the National Archives of Canada [NAC].
