Hello Kerry

You will find the information you are looking for in the 1878 index page. There is a link to the sailing list, and you will find that the ship was only a feeder between Norway and England. This indicates that the emigrants you are looking for did not travel from Norway directly, but traveled via the pot of Hull in England. From Hull they traveled by train to the west coast of England to embark the transatlantic ship, probably Liverpool, Southampton or maybe Glasgow. You will find a lot of information about this in the different articles on this site.
