Can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction on info about this ship? My great-grandparents came from Norway on this ship in June 1912. They were to have sailed on the Titanic, but were delayed due to an unsetted land deal so took a later ship. I have it written the ship(Assoinia) docked in Halifax, Canada.

Thank you
Carol

This could be the Cunard Line ship S/S Ascania (1) built in 1911 9111 g. She was on the Southampton - Quebec - Montreal service. The name Assoinia does not sound familiar, so I think it must be misspelled.
