Need help with the name of another daughter born to Peter and Margit on Nov. 5, 1817. I also notice there are no records for Bø parish from 1749 to 1814. Do any exist or should I look in a different direction?

There are two daughters born to Peter Rollevsen and Margit Gislesdatter - Torbiør born on Nov. 10, 1813 and Torbjør born on Oct. 13, 1823. Are these names different from each other or would they both have the same name? I believe I found a death record for Torbjør in Nov. 1823?

Most likely the same name.
The death of Torbjør Pedersdatter on Nov 29 1823 is the one born Oct 13 same year, the age given as 7 weeks when she died.

The Torbiør born in 1813 most likely died between 1818 and 1823.

I guess I am confused due to the Torbiør born in 1813 married my 4G Grandfather Svennung Evensen June 21, 1844 and is buried in the West Luther Valley cemetary in Wisconsin. I found it odd they would have named another daughter the same if the first Torbiør was still alive.

Regarding Aslak Evensen - his birth is listed on his confirmation record as Jan 24, 1811 but the baptism record found shows born a year later than this on Feb. 6, 1812 in Eidanger, His tombstone inscription is the same as the Jan. date. Most family records are in the Bø parish lists except for this one. Would the EIdanger parish be in close proximity to the Bø parish at that time? Or maybe I just haven't stumbled across the correct birth record in the Bø records yet.

- in his marriage record is stated that he was born in Eidanger. It is reasonable to believe that the baptismal record found is the right one.
The different birth date at confirmation and on the tombstone is difficult to explain.

I am not having any luck finding anything on the parents Even Andersen and Helge Svennungsdatter. I have looked through Eidanger records for a marriage since Aslak was born there but have found nothing. Family Search has a link to Even in Aslak's birth record but it only lists that Even was born "about 1787". I searched that time frame through Bø and Eidanger records and found nothing. I also have been unable to locate anything on Helge. Have I hit a dead end?

Eidanger merged with Porsgrunn in the 1960s.

I have a possible candidate for you.
Even Andersen born 1791 in Porsgrunn Østre (Porsgrunn Eastern), bap. Dominica Reminiscere, Sunday March. 20.
Parents; Anders Jacobsen and Ingebor Jensdatter, see right page 9. & 10. line from top, starts with Dom: Reminis: see here

The family in Porsgrunn 1801

Thanks - I will try looking more into that parish for anything on Helge as well as possible record of their marriage. I will also search through Eidanger records again since their first child Aslak was born there it is possible the marriage record is there and I haven't come across it yet.
