Probably some other children of Andreas Olsen and Anne Arnesdatter.

They are children of Andreas Olsen and Anne Arnesdatter, but I think some corrections are needed.
Ole Andersen should be Ole Andreasen and Berthe Marie Olsen should be Berthe Marie Andreasdatter.

Anne Arnesdatters parents, Arne Olsen and Berte Eriksdatter were married May 21 1841, see #22.
Arne Olsen was 23 years (born approx 1818) and his father was Ole Andersen, Malmer.
Berte Eriksdatter was 27 1/2 years (born approx 1813) and her father was Erik Gundersen, Mellem i Oudalen.

Joseph Hartmiller is definitely my great grandfather and his dad is definitely Matthew Hartmiller. I assuming that Mathias Hartmuller and Matthew Hartmiller are the same person given certain dates and related names. I can't find anything to definitely say for sure that I am correct. But after the marriage of Mathias he disappears and Mathew Hartmiller appears. So if you couldn't find anything in 1850 he might have changed his name to Matthew.

Do you have any idea when Anne Marie Hartmiller died. Have you ever found a record for her, census or otherwise.

Everyone except Mathias seem to disappear after coming to America.

It interesting that Mary Hartmiller was born in Alsace Lorraine: Hartmuller seems to be a uncommon name. It seems like it might be a pretty good clue. I'll have to look at how close it is to their port of departure. Thank you.

Le Havre, France would probably be the best port to travel from Alsace-Lorraine. Thanks again for the idea.
