I am trying to locate the baby who died in 1890, Was the child of Ole Peter Johannessen and Dina Margrethe Gulbrandsen. I did find one, Jenny Sophie Johannessen but I am not sure. Could have been stillborn or died shortly after birth. Is there any way to check for sure. They were from Oslo. What I found is the burial place was as follows."Sagene/Uranienborg/Etc,/,Oslo, Norway. Burial date 15 Aug 1890.
My great grandmother Dagmar Antoine Johansen had a sibling that died as an infant. Any help would be appreciated.

I assume the parents were the ones living in Ensjøveien 1 in 1900, see here.
In addition to the children listed in 1900 they had Inga Marie, born 1874 and Olga Eleonore, born 1878.

Challenge is to find which parish in Oslo the children was born.

Where does the burial info come from?

They also had a son Eugen Bjarne, born 1889. He is not listed with the family in 1900.

Vivi, Looks like my missing child. I pulled the page you gave me. But of course cannot read Norwegian. Can you make out how he died. This fill in one of my missing links. I can pass this on to my other family members who are also researching the family. Thank you so much. Can you see where Ole and Dina got married or when and how they died. Any help would be appreciated. I have a lot of info but also have a lot of missing info.

Looks like cause of death = "Morbus Brightii" (Latin), i.e. Bright's disease

Hi

Ole Peter Johannessen died Jan 16, 1932.
In his probate it is written:
The deceased was a widower and leaves four children of age, 2 here and 2 in America, and after a deceased son 5 children...
I'm not able to read enough to get any sence out of the rest, sorry.
This was reported by his son Einar Johansen, Tøiengt. 45 II.
Ole Peter owned the property where he lived, Ensjøveien 1.
Notice that here and in the censuses he uses surname Johansen.
