What does f.kr. mean before a birth date in a Bygdebok?

Which bygdebok?
What is the context ? (The sentence in which it appears.)

Most books have a page with a legend of abbreviations used -- check for that page in the book you are using.

f.kr is an abbreviation for "fĝre kristus" before christ, but it makes no sence in this case.

It is out of a Sogndal Bygdebok . I think it is from Bruk l c. 1680- ara. Page 60. The a's have a small circle above them but I don't have the option to use the Norwegian symbol on tablet. Here is what it says:

ca. 1700
Anders Johannesson f. kr. 1659 pa Hausa, d. kr. 1723 pa Hundere. Gift kr. 1694
a. Sissel f. 1695
b. Maren f. 1701
c. Anders f. 1704

Perhaps it is a typesetting error which should have been f. ikr.
ikr. would be an abbreviation for ikring = about.
