Yngvar Nils was going to his mother Petra Olson in New York when he came to US in 1924. Here is a death of a Petra Olson:

I think this says that the registration of "war" sailors is not complete. This fellow stayed in England during the war and there are 7 mustering in records for him also at the site. It also says he went to New Zealand after the war.

This guy's baptism is #27 on the male top half of page, father is 2nd Styrmand Hans Andreasen:

you say you have found 7 Mustering for him do you have the name of the ships and was there an O Sorvig/Sarvig on any of musterings as he was a witness at their Annulled Wedding
In September 1942.My father must have been in London England at this time

Interesting, the fellow had a London registration number. Here's a link:

click on mønstring and it will show the 7 records on him, ship names etc, there is one from 1942

This could be very interesting . Did you have any joy with
O.Sorvig or Sarvig as a fellow seaman
can you get full crew lists for these ships this would confirm the link to the name on Wedding certificate Not sure what to do with the reg number or will that just give the same info you have found
