...in Inderøy, North-Trøndelag. His parents were Niels Monsen and Kirstine Olsdaughter. Via "Google" it is said that Iver Nielsen emigrated to USA in 1881, where he married. Can you please find information about this guy?
Best regards,
Anne Benum

Fine "link" about his emigration. Is it possible to find how his life continued in US?

What's the source for his marriage?

Here's a possible but he is single:
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FLKR-3TL

What research have you done on Iver's siblings? For instance Ole Nilsen Hjulstad may have had a death notice mentioning surviving siblings....

It's not possible for me to open the familysearch-pc-thing! And what I have "learned" about his marriage, is something I have read on Google. That's where I have "found" the information I have.

Familysearch recently added a sign-in aspect. You get an account, which is free, by signing up. Then you have access to any of the indexed items (but not necessarily to actual record images.)

So I understand that you have not done research in the Norwegian records which are available to you? In particular the newspapers in which death notices are published might help you track where he lived, or how long he lived. The older newspapers at the Norwegian National Library site are usually open to all but the more modern papers are generally open to Norwegian IP addresses only. You might consider doing a bit more research yourself.

As it is, there are tons of Iver Nelsons over here with the right approximate birthdates but I found no Iver Hjulstad in US.

The source is likely the local farm history book, which only says this about Iver:
"Iver Nilsen, b. 1859. Emigrated 1881 to America, where he got married."

It also says that his father Nils Monsen had 16 children from 2 marriages.
Kjerstine Olsdatter was his 2nd wife, and they had 5 girls and 3 boys, incl. Iver.

With 1st wife Marta Larsdatter he had 6 girls and 2 boys. Only Pauline Nilsdatter b. 1831 of the 15 siblings to Iver is listed as emigrated to America. (Plus a nephew that first emigrated to Australia, and later relocated to America.)

I have not managed to get into the Family search! And I didn't know that Pauline Nilsdatter also emigrated to America. All that is said in jwiborg's News, is correct.

Pauline Hjulstad (26) from Inderøen emigrated through Trondheim to Boston on 14.06.1893.
I believe this could be the Pauline which are referenced as emigrated from Hjulstad, and a sister of Iver.
But her age indicate she's born 1867, so the farm history book could be wrong, and that she is a niece of Iver.

Likely this one:
Washington Death Certificates
Name Pauline Olson Hjulsted
Event Date 02 Aug 1958
Event Place Seattle, King, Washington
Gender Female
Age (Formatted) 88 years
Birth Year (Estimated) 1870
