#41 Johanne Olsdatter is getting confirmed on this page (right side):
SAKO, Norderhov kirkebøker, G/Ga/L0002: Klokkerbok nr. I 2, 1814-1867, s. 728-729
Brukslenke for sidevisning: https://media.digitalarkivet.no/kb20070313670621

The word or abbreviation in front of her father's name appeared to me to be afg. which I took to be short for afgang or departed as in departed by death.

It looks like it's spelled out on this confirmation of Jon Olsen, her brother #18
SAKO, Norderhov kirkebøker, F/Fa/L0009: Ministerialbok nr. 9, 1819-1837, s. 726-727
Brukslenke for sidevisning: https://media.digitalarkivet.no/kb20070314630004

Have I interpreted "afgang" correctly in these two instances, meaning that Ole Larsen has died rather than he abandoned the family by leaving?

"Afgangen" is the right intepretation in both cases. In the confirmation record for Johanne the mother is said to be Hustru Enke Mari Jonsdatter.
