Well that was interesting. My post that you show above is the wrong guy. My guy is on page 300 of the scans and I did find the person you posted above who is the right person on page 310. I am not sure yet how Ancestry has transcribed his name but I will look and see if I can find the transcription. An error also by Ancestry has the arrival date off by one. The correct date is given at the top of the manifest.

Well here he is, the O to an A gave me fits.

I have received Ole Nordalls obituary from Tacoma library. No family is mentioned. I wonder about the six pallbearers - were they usually family or friends, or were they from the authorities? The obituary mentioned that he was living at the Ozanam home. Was that a home for old people?

He was probably in the Ozanum Nursing Home or Home for the Aged at 1812 Yakima Ave in Tacoma. It was a Catholic social service organization. Does obit say which funeral home handled the services or names of pall bearers?

A Nebubrn Miller in the 1940 census at Tacoma is a patcher in a door factory:

A Roy Herrington in the 1940 census at Tacoma is a sticker man at a door manufacturer:

My guess would be that the pall bearers are former co-workers.

A really snarky site called Legacy.com gives this information for Lynn Funeral Home in Tacoma:
Lynn Funeral Home
717 Tacoma Avenue South
Tacoma, WA 98402-2299

But trying to get a website, email address or phone number led no where.

Mountain View Funeral Home has a 110 acre cemetery attached, maybe where Ole is buried? You might try there:

Another way to get the Ole Nordall and Bert Nordall connected would be to see if there is an obituary for Bert. His death certainly made the news, his obituary might make the local newspapers.

Here is a page of the Park Falls Public Library, they may have the local paper on microfilm:
