I think I saw it somewhere that he died in 1850. Then I thought, maybe that’s why Johan Carl Palmstrøm left Norway and went to USA in 1850s after his fathers death.

1875 is way off. His wife was a widow at the 1865 census.

And here are the heirs. Widow plus sons Peter and Nicolai and four daughters. No Johan Carl. Either because he was dead at the time, or because they thought so.

Yes I meant March 21, Thanks for the corrections.

Lots of words in the list of survivors that are unreadable, but here is a rough list of the children.

Looks like the list is

Peter Palmstrøm ? age 24 1/2

Nicolai Palmstrøm ? age 17

Datters

Gurine Laurette Palmstrøm age 18

Marie Catherine Palmstrøm along with her husband

Elsie Mathilde age 14

Georgine Nicoiine age 12

but you are right I do not see any mention of Johan Carl unfortunately .

Johan Carl Palmstrom Born 1829, left Norway in abt 1855 and went to Australia via USA. This is from the Lange/Palmstrom website. About 7 months ago, it listed that he came to Australia via USA. So, I think it is my Johan Carl Palmstrom ( Then Charles Peterson ) that is apart of the Noble Lange/Palmstrom Family. I can’t find anyone with the name Johan Carl Palmstrom in any Australian records, such as marriage, death, children’s baptisms, etc. from 1855 until today. What do you all think?

Thx for everyone’s help, but just found out that Johan Carl Pedersen Palmstrom can’t be my GG Grandfather, because he died in 1855 in Norway, therefore didn’t go to USA and then settle in Australia. Thx MarkPeter
