I am trying to trace the history of an original painting of a square masted ship, that has been pasted on to me from previous generations.
It looks like a "Bark" but as history goes, it might have been changed through time.
Down at the bottom of the painting, there is a border with the inscription "Collector of Arendal Capt.C.B. Olsen".
I have been told by previous generations of relatives, that I have a family connection to this painting.
I would like to know if anyone could help me trace the history of this painting.
Thanks,
Gregg Amundson
