I have been trying to find my ggrandparents who came from Norway. GGrandfather: Lars/Lewis Hovland born Oct. 30, 1854 in Hadeland, Oppland, Norway. GGrandmother: Mathilda Dahltorp born Oct. 8, 1865 in Fredrikstad, Ostfold, Norway. They were married in the USA in 1900. I have been unable to find out anything else about them such as their parents, when they immigrated, etc. Can anyone help me? Please? Thank you.

Lars Iversen Hovland and brother Johan Iversen Holvland
left Jevnaker April 19 1882 for Eau Clair. They started their journey to Hull, England where they bordered a lager ship for America. They used A. Sharpe as agent for Allan Line so they might have bordered the S/S Buenos Eyrean in Glasgow/Liverpool in April 25/26 and arrived Quebec May 13
You find the brothers Iversen Hovland and family at the census of 1875 |

Hi I found them in the 1910 US census for Minneapolis
Louis G. Holand (Hovland) age 55 1st marriage married 19yrs immigrated 1885
Matilda age 44 hard to read the immigration date 1886 ??

Ever 12
Alfred 11
George 7
Melvin 2
The immigration date for Matilda might help find her on the passenger lists.
