I am searching for descendants of Hans Olsen who emigrated from Norway to New Zealand somewhere in the 1800's.
He ( a brother of my greatgrandfather ) was born in Norway, probably in the district of Teien, in 1850.
Son of Ole Hansen, brother of Anton,Martin( emigrated and married in Holland ) Olava, Oluf Kristian ( died on the isle of St. Helena ) and Pauline.
Mother probably Inger Kristine Paulsdatter.
After Hans emigrated all trace of him has been lost.
Any information is more than welcome !

Cant help you with the New Zealand info, but I believe Teien was farm Skoppumteien in Borre.

Hans Olsen b. June 15. christened July 28. 1850.
Parents: Farmer Ole Hansen and Inger Kirstine Paulsdatter Skoppumteien.

The only organized em. from Norway to NZ was on ship Hĝvding 1872 and -73, link one way ticket paid by the NZ authorities, dest Norsewood (Norwegian wood).

Perhaps he ended in Australia ? Tasmania?
Did he jump of a ship in NZ, not unusual?

Hans was confirmated in Borre June 11. 1865, see #56

You are a living genealogy-encyclopedia !

I too think it possible Hans ended up in Australia or Tasmania. Will have to extend my search to the whole region.
