The source is the 1830-christening record and the 1865-census, both provided by Anton [lyndal40] in this topic.

In the data base at Ancestry "All Norway, Select Baptisms, 1634-1927" there are six children named Peder Christiansen born 1929 +/- 2 in Hof, Hedmark. They and their parents are
Peder Christiansen born Mar 27, 1829 baptism April 19, 1829 Parents are Christian Pedersen and Marie Gundersdtter
Peder Christiansen born Sep 22, 1829 baptism Sep 27, 1829 Parents are Christian Pedersen and Berte Gulbradsdatter
Peder Christiansen born Oct 5, 1829 baptism Oct 18, 1829 Parents are Christian Toristen and Karie Pedersdatter
Peder Christiansen born Oct 16, 1829 baptism Oct 25, 1829 Parents are Christian Pedersen and Birthe Olsdatter
Peder Christiansen born Jul 2, 1830 baptism Oct 1, 1830 Parents are Christian Einarsen and Anne Olsdatter
As you can see there is only one Peder Christiansen that meets your criteria of having a parent named Christian Einarsen.

If you take a close look at the Digitalarkvet record for the marriage of Peder Christiansen and Hellene Halvorsdater on April 7, 1854 you can see the farms associated with the couple. Note that the farm for the father of Peder Christiansen who is named Christian Einarsen is Sjøbræden the same farm as in the 1830 baptism record provided above by Jan Peter (jwiborg)

That makes a good connection between the two records and does a good job confirming that the Chistian Pedersen born July 2, 1830 is your Peder Christiansen. |

| Thanks for the link. I agree. However, he would have only been 23 years old on April 7th, 1854 unless he was born in 1829. The marriage records says he was 24. Her age of 25 is correct, since she would not be 26 until October 15th. |
