In case it helps, here is the birth in Rønne parish:
link

The mother's name is easier to read: Kristine f Hansdatter (f = født, born = her maiden name) , age 38.

...and baptism record in Klemensker:

Sorry. After I posted it, I realized I was asking for Danish help in a Norwegian Forum. Is there a Danish forum I can post this in? www.danishfamilysearch.com forums questions appear to be in Danish.

The intent of my posting is to determine who is the father of Poul. Can someone quess what it says above Kristine's name?

Kristine was married to Carl Christian Andreas Georg Vang (17-03-1863 to 10-09-1943). However, he emigrated to America in 1907 and Poul's birth record (1909) states she is abandoned. From Census data, he was raised by Johan and Andrea Rasmussen. Are there Danish adoption records available?

I did find Poul's death records, which states his father was Alfred Pedersen: www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?epid=17117971#155222,25927365," target="_blank">https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?epid=17117971#155222,25927365, line 19. Where would they get this information? From the family?

Kristina also had a daughter, Lilly Valborg Mathea Hansen (21-05-1911 to 21-01-1988) after Carl left, so I also want to try to find who her father was.

Thanks

I think the part I couldn't read above Kristine's name says Forladt Hustru or abandoned wife. I don't think it's anyone's name.

TomHammer, an excellent Danish help forum is DIS-Danmark "Find Your Relatives in Denmark." Several forums are available on the site. The one I mention is English language.

If you follow my post here (https://www.slaegtogdata.dk/forum/index.php/topic,138516.0.html), you can see why I don't think their father is Carl - he left for America in April 1907.

Kaarto, interesting note about the marriage in 1908. I looked in the Parish records for Tolstrup and don't see this entry. I do know they were married in 1897 in Ronne: https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?epid=17117971#155198,25921584 (line 38). Not sure why, but 1897 was 6 years after they had their first child.

Peder, I believe this is a different person. My relative was born in 1911.and had different parents and siblings.

You are right.
You have done a great job.
His Death record tells that Driver Poul Børge was "Søn af arbejdsmand" Son of laborer Alfred Pedersen.
His parents were not married, "Hustru" Wife is a wrong spelling

I am not sure if the Danish adoption records are online.

"Forladt kone" Abandoned wife.

Kaarto,

"Married in Tolstrup April 8.1908 laborer Carl Christian Andreas Georg Vang and wife Kristin born Hansdotter, age 38."

Further inspection of the birth record shows "V. i Tolstrup 18.4.1908" relates to the record above Poul's. "V. i Ronne 13.11.1897" is the marriage date of Carl and Kristine.
