I am searching for the name of the ships that my great grandfather had. His name was Nils Jorgen Larsen, he was born in 1865 in Norway. The story is he lost all 3 ships and the cargo he inherited from his father in the late 1800's.

Does the ship "Borgland Christiania" mean anything to anyone? I have a photo with my great granddad on it with some other men? Thanks

I put "Borgland Christiania" into Google and got a number of references, no pictures, here is one:

https://books.google.com/books?id=MXs5AQAAMAAJ&pg=PA74&lpg=PA74&dq=%22ship+borgland%22&source=bl&ots=QB8bvOLwui&sig=ACfU3U0nVyygJ_bOazDdlH1IW2XG43TZLg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiR-4Ll6eHlAhVBneAKHTQCCVcQ6AEwAnoECAgQAQ#v=onepage&q=%22ship%20borgland%22&f=false

A ship named Borgland was built in 1918 and torpedoed in 1941, here from Sjohistorie:
https://www.sjohistorie.no/en/skip/4238/

And there is an earlier ship of the same name built in 1913:

The list on Ancestry appears to be a crews list.

I am not sure what type of ship it was, I just noticed the life rings with the name on it in the photo.
