I did submit Husmandsfolk to Ancestry.com as Alternate Information. Not sure it shows up very easily.

Here is the transcription from Digitalarkvet.

Clarification. In the Baptism record for Østen Hans Hagen, Tinn, Telemark, his mother is noted as Lisbet Østensdatter. then the word Zimmondfolk. Suggest it should be Huusmandsfolk, a cottager, teneant farmer..the family were husmand folks. The old gothic script most likely written by a Danish pastor was transcribed incorrect. Any one agree? Might this be corrected? Takk!

This all very interesting. Osten Hans "Austin" Hanson is my great grandfather. Hans Olsen Hagan & Lisbet Ostensdatter would be my Great great grandparents

Well if you have a further interest. I see there are quite a few family trees for your family on Ancestry..com some quite well documented, Including one by the Original Poster Aavedt17,

Thanks for the information. On find a grave website it says Osten Hans Hanson emigration 15th Febraury 1890 left Tinn Parish "No family memebers left with him". He would of been 17years old. This feed suggest he emigrated with his mother Lisbet and her possible new husband as his father passed away 1879. This probably makes more sense. I will need to look into subscribing to Ancestry.com

His mother and two children and new husband left Oslo in May of 1890. Østen left Tinn in Feb of 1890. You can see the original record Nr 1, 1890. Looks to me as if he left alone.

Nr 1, bottom of the left page.
