On further checking family history there is an entry for Gonner Evensdatter Lundberg by the great grandson of Even.
Gonner Evensdatter Lundberg 23 Feb 1881 in Myrseie. She immigrated to
America 28 May 1909 , she lived in Detroit but they lost contact with her after 1910.

In this case Detroit means Detroit Lakes Minnesota. I guess I'll have to try to decide whether or not there is more than one Gunwar. The information on the marriage in 1912 in Minneapolis is sparse her age is off a bit to be Gonner but could still be her, since Harold was born close to Minneapolis if not right in Minneapolis, late in 1910.

I sent you an email through the Norway Heritage system. Not sure that part of the site is working these days. Do you know if anyone in your family has had their DNA done?

The farm is Lundbyeie which means a husman place under Lundby.

No one has DNA done as far as I know. There are no other sisters or half sisters other than Oline that is mentioned in family history that I have.

The grass on the roof looks "traditional" but what is the architectural style here?

It was a dream from the owner who sold the estate 4 years ago:

"I moved here from Asker outside Oslo as a 19-year-old. My dream was the classic cotter's place with the red main building and the sloping gray barn.
I have realized my dream and now others can have the opportunity to realize theirs. Over the years, we have built up the homestead to what it is today. This is my boyhood dream, with towers rising to the sky, pure Soria Moria castle..."

Is the family tree the Molden family tree or some other?

I believe Daniel Molden has a fair bit of info on some of the family, I don't think he is a member here he is a great grandson of Mikel Paulsen Myhre another brother to Even. I will email him maybe he will have more info

Never did receive an email, however I have had my DNA done and have results. What connection are you possibly looking for.

Many years ago, I bought an Ancestry DNA test kit for my cousin who is the daughter of Harold Klimpel the adoptee. She actually did get the test done but any of the lines of connection for her from the test were connections from her mother's family none from her father's.

Harold's birth records indicate that his birth mother was a Gunwar Lundberg. Not much other information about her was available, so I have been pursuing the name.

And, of course, Gunwar Lundberg is a fairly uncommon name and I am hoping to rule this Gunwar / Gonner in or out.
