I hunt for a Julius Helgesen (b. 1832 in Rygge Norway). He traveled to the United States in 1869 with destination Chicago. His wife, Marte Oline Anonsdatter (born 1828 in Vεler Norway) traveled with the same destination in 1870. She is also called Amundsen. They had the children Helge (b. 1864), Maren (b. 1866) and Julia (b. 1869).
Are there any traces of them?

From the Herald-advance Friday, Sep 23, 1921 Milbank, SD
Page: 3 col 3:

"H.J. Molvig, aged 56 years, a pioneer resident of Beadle county, committed suicide by hanging in his barn on his farm eleven miles west of Virgil. Molvig was a few weeks ago adjudged insane by the Beadle County Sanity Board."

From Aberdeen Journal,Monday, Aug 08, 1921, Aberdeen, SD, Page: 4 col 3

"Practically admitting the charges of his children that he had for several weeks endeavored to induce themselves and other members of the family to poison themselves, J.H. Molvig, a prominent Beadle county farmer, was adjudged insane by the county board of insanity and ordered sent to the state hospital for the insane at Yankton. A novel feature of the case is that Molvig himself desires to be sent to a sanitarium instead and has instituted habeas corpus proceedings to secure custody of himself so he may go to sanitarium instead of the hospital of the insane."

Ella, Mrs. Helge Molvig attended this funeral in 1918:

"Walthill Citizen: One of tho sad

completely over pinning the occu

fifteen teer. As near as could bo as
certained they were in that position
for one-half hour or more, when Mr.
Early happened along and released
Mr. ri ;-, who was bruised and cut
about U.c neck and shoulders. Soon
he had help from tho Sharp children
coming from school and the car was
raised enough to got Mrs. Ping out,
but life was extinct when she was re
moved, she having been thrown face
donwards into the mud and the
heavy car thrown upon her. They
were hurried to Walthill to Dr. Gram
lich's office butMrs. Ping was beyond
the help of human hands and was

Odd Fellows lodge drove by auto to
Albaton, la: F. E. Young, Chester

by loving hands of her youthful
friends and the "added floral offer
