TOLSTADLOEKKEN
Virague	I've always been quite interested in my familys surname, since it's only 12 people alive using this name in Norway. So when I found a woman named Synneve Tolstadloekken, who emigrated from Christiania in Norway May 6th 1866 on a bark named "Eucharis, and arrived in Quebec June 13th, I just had to try and find out more about her and hopefully about her descendants. I hope there's anyone out there who can help me find some answers! [:)]
Brining	I haven't found any Tolstadloekken in the US. She probably would have gone by her patronymic or Tolstad. I did find the farm Tolstadløkken in Vaage, Oppland, so that is probably where she came from.
