| Passenger List for S/S Geiser (Geyser) ??? |
| storemyr | How can I find the passanger list for the S/S Geiser, Thingvalla Line, which left from Kristiania 12 July 1883, and arrived in New York 27 July 1883?
I am looking for my ggrandfather's nephew Ole K Jensen. He went by Ole K Johnson in the USA. He was 20 years old at the time.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Select the list "Emigrants sailing from Kristiania 1871-1930".
Find records where Dep.date equals 12.07.1883, you should get 205 hits.
But there is noone called Ole K Jensen, age 20 in the list... [B)]
There is one Ole Nylen (22) from Sweden, Ole Jens. Nerlie (35), Ole Severinsen (28) and Ole O. Borud (24).

Actually, the information I have comes from the database you suggest. If you put Ole's name in as Ole "Jens", it will serve up an Ole Jens (Andersen), and that is my man.
What I was trying to find was any news/list at his arrival in New York.

The problem for me is I have not been able to find the list published at either of these two sources. If you can find it I would apprecite some direction.
