boat called Rosenius |
bev | I am trying to locate a boat called Rosenius that went from Norway to London in the late 1800's. My greatgran father sailed on this boat and I am trying to establish the dates that he left
Norway to coincide with when he left London to come to Australia. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated
Many Thanks |
Brining | Hi Have you tried looking for him in the Digitalarkivet emigrant registers?Click Here I did a brief search and didn't find the Rosenius but there are lots of listings without ships names so he could be there.

Borge | I am pretty sure this was not an emigrant ship if it left from Oslo. It was probably a merchant ship, if not I think we would have had it in the emigrant ship database. Was your great-grandfather a sailor? |

We have been told he was danish and went to England on a
boat named Rosenius - he was in the merchant navy in Australia so maybe it was a merchant ship - can you help with how to find out where this ship travelled ??? Many thanks |
