| hp011b5562_2 | I am researching the pederson family and have had help from people in Ostfold,my own information is that we came from Fredrikstad my grandfather Olaf married in Edinburgh aged 31 in 1888,his father was Hans Peder Pederson ,my problem is that on his marriage certificate his mother is down as Caroline Hegglan,The people in Ostfold have traced a Karoline Heggeland married to Hans Peder Pederson from Fredrikshald,they have a son Olaf he is the same age as my grandfather and also in the family are names all relevant to my family of to-day ,Hans ,Olaf,Harold Pettronelle(Peter).im just afraid i have the wrong family or could Heggelan be the English version of Heggelland,can anybody help[?] |
