Are you trying to send a mail to the local government in Fredrikstad, dealing with tax-issues?

did you have a "valid" recipient name in the address field?
The notice "utilstrekkelig adresse" refer most likely to a non-valid recipient, not necessarily the address itself.

| Borge | Most of the service-minded people in the Norwegian Postal Service was fired a few years ago. Someone invented efficiency! In addition all of those sweet old ladies who knew everyone and looked after the mail so that it reached the right recipient are sent off with a pension. So, don't expect a letter to get through if you can't be deadly specific about where it is supposed to go. Why don't you let us know what you are looking for and we will try to supply you with the correct address. |
| hp011b5562_2 | im actually trying to find relations of an old friend ,his name was John Johansen,he was brought up by my great grandfather Hans Peder Pederson,Hans was originally from Fredrikshald but we always believed he was from Fredrikstad ,but through research we conected the 2 towns together.the bydbok for our family is Graesvig ,and i was advised that its modern name is or might be Gressvik so i found a family with the Gressvik address and sent a letter to them ,but it came back as stated in my original question |
