Hans Christian Pedersen Kure
James E HegI apologize for coming back to this topic so often. I have a bit of new information and wonder if Børge still has access to Rygge Gårder og Slekter and could provide some basic geneological data on subject's ancestors: Peder Kjønigsen Kure 1710 - 1768, Kjønig Hansen Kure 1677 - 1719, and Hans Kjønigsen. I am not trying to get back to Leif Eriksen, but these new players recently turned up. Any info on Kones and kids? Not a high priority matter. Hilsen Jim
BorgeI am quite loaded with work right now, but I'll try to bring you some new info this weekend. I did make some copies of the Kure farm chapters, as I was expecting you to get back on the subject [:p]
BorgeJim I hope I got this right, there were some things that was a little confusing concerning the first generation of the Kures in the book. Kjønig Hansen Kure born about 1677 (son of Hans Kjønigsen) married to Margrete Larsdatter Children: a. Peder Kjønigsen Kure b. ca. 1710, died May 1768 b. Johanne Kjønigsdatter Kure (married to Christen Larsen Gasman) c. Anne Kjønigsdatter Kure (married to Nils Mortensen Kure - vestre) Margrete Larsdatter married Gunder Helgesen Søtvik after Kjønig Hansen died, children: d. Maria Gundersdatter e. Ingeborg Gundersdatter b. 1725 f. Malene Gubndersdatter b. 1730 g. Helge Gundersen b. 1732 Peder Kjønigsen Kure b. ca. 1710 married Berte Christensdatter Grefsrød (b. ca. 1700 - d. 1771) - children: a. Kjønig Pedersen Kure b. Hans Christian Pedersen Kure b. 1742 - moved to Otterstadmyren (married to Sønni Sørensdatter Opstad) c. Marte Pedersdatter (married to Tollef Larsen Roer)
James E HegBørge - Thank you. That info makes a nice fill-in. One more thing - do you have any information on the approximate year/month that Even Hansen left Rygge and went to Hurum? I have some intertesting developments with respect to his time in the Hurum, Drammen, Lier area. This has to do with our friend Søren Bache, his father, Tollef, and the gjestgiveriet in Lierbyen. Tollef was an ardent Haugean and a very rich man. He actually owned the Inn. Søren Bache and Even Hansen were about the same age and very close friends. The party Even Hansen led to America were all Haugeans. Søren Bache was the aadvance scout. Hilsen and Takk for the addresses. Jim
BorgeI could try finding the date of Even Hansen's departure from Rygge, but I will have to get the microfilms again first.
James E HegBørge - Forget about it. It is not that important. Hilsen Jim
