| Borge | The only India I can think of is the one built by W. Simons & Co, Renfrew, launched for the Anchor Line in 1868. She was a ship of 2,290 tons, and length 94,97 meters x 11,18 meters breadth. This ship had 1 funnel, 2 masts and was an iron construction. She had a service speed 12 knots and accommodation for 60 passengers in 1st class and 500 in steerage. She was scrapped in 1894. The Anchor Line had their home port in Glasgow, and emigrant s traveling by this line from the Scandinavia had to go via Britain. The Norwegian authorization was:
Steamship via Britain to New York and from there to the final destination in America
So this means you should be looking for another ship (feeder) from Prussia, Denmark or Norway.
