Word for Lange Book 1888
macanxiety	I am translating a very old Lange Slektebok from Riksmaal to English. There are 2 abbreviated words that I can not find in any Norwegian or Danish Dictionary's ex. Philos and c. Philos I think these have something to do with school or education. If anyone would like, I can e-mail you the original sentance either in Riksmaal or English. Gus Marsh
thelebrity	These are university degrees. Ex phil is short for examen philosophicum. Today it's the lowest degree at norwegian universitys. It's a pre study that most students have to complete before they move on to "real" studies/degrees. c. phil means candidate philosophicum and is a degree in philosophy.
