JoanieI am a descendant of the Fløgstad Family that sailed aboard the Atalanta in 1871. The family ended up settling in Iowa. Christine Olsdtr. is my Great Grandmother.
JMDannerI am a descendant of Anders Dagfinrud/Danner, that sailed aboard the Atalanta in May of 1868.He arrived in Galveston. He met his future bride we can assume on that passage from Christiania. Her name was Randine Kristiansdatter/Klafsatd .They settled in Norse Texas for a period of time and then on to Otter Tail Minnesota. In 1919 they traveled by train to Everett Snohomish County Washington. Anders and Randi are Buried in Arlington Washington in the "old part" of the cemetery. Jeff
