Bobbi Broeniman	Hello, I'm a newbie here and just starting out on getting information on this family. I'm looking for information on Ole ALFSEN b. 28 May 1819 in Skien, Norway, married Henrikka MOE,b.8 Aug 1822 and married 18 Jul 1847 in Trondheim, Sor-Trondelag, Norway. They immigrated to America in 1850 settling in Mount Morris, Waukesha,WI. A relative, Jacob Alfsen, immigrated 1855 and settled in Mount Morris, WI. Thank you for any help.
Trond	Ole Alfsen was born at Valen-eiet, Melum in Solum, Telemark according to the site Solumslekt at: http://solumslekt.org/slekta/famark.php?person=11173 . On this link you will find his mother and father and some generations backwards and forward. Unfortunately this site is in Norwegian only, but logical built. Some easy translation is: Far = Father Mor = Mother Ektefelle = Spouse, partner Barn = Child In the fiche set “Emigrants from Telemark” there is one Jacob Alfsen b. 1823-08-21 in Solum. He immigrated to America in 1849. [8D]
