Justina Vedin
mailandicMy great grandmother was Justina Vedin, her and her 9 children were on the tragic ship Norge when it sank. Only my Grandfather Martin Vedin (Wedin), and brother Ture survived this horrific episode...eventually meeting their father Martin here in America (Upsala, MN). I have been trying to locate any family in Sweden, but it has been very difficult tracking. Justina and children left Borgvattnet to meet her husband Martin in MN...can anyone help? Thank you,
askeroiNot all of us are familiar with when "the tragic ship Norge" sank. Some year / age information would help a bit here... Vedin/Wedin was Justina's married name, wasn't it? There's nobody with that name in the 1900 cencus - but several Justinas. Do you have her maiden/fathers name? And finally: where's "Borgvattnet"?
