Does anyone know anything about the Norwegian Venden family? That surname runs throughout my father's side of the family-- His family, Venden Berry, was living in England until he was ten, then they came to the US, but the rest of the Vendens, probably Venden Curtis are still in the UK--- I found some Vendens in Norway who moved to Wisconsin, but as of yet have found no Vendens in England. Anyone know anything??Any information would be greatly appreciated!!!

there is a farm called Venden in Etnedalen, Oppland county.
It could be the origin of the name... [:)]

| KariWaterbury | Vendom a/k/a Venden was the name of a farm in Etnedalen, Valders, Oppland County, Norway. I am a direct descendent of the Venden Family that migrated from Norway to Wisconsin. I would love to learn more about your Norwegian genealogy! I'm still not sure where my Vendens came from, but they could have been the Norwegian ones. Do you know of any who came to the UK? Thanks! Here's my email: harpgirl@comcast.net.
