J. Krantz line
NormaMy grandmother, Marie C. Bakhagen and her two small children left Christania on the Angelo on May 18, 1883. They were passengers 3755 a, b, and c in the digitalarkivet. The ship line is listed as J Krantz. There are several ships listed as leaving Liverpool on May 23 and 24, but none are listed as J. Krantz line. Is there any clue as to what line Krantz may have been connected with? I see ships from National Line, Inman Line, Allan Line, American Line, Dominion Line . Also, I can no longer find sites that have transcriptions of ship lists on the internet (such as ISTG). Where did they go in the past year? When I try to go to them all I get is Ancestry.com. Has it taken over everything? Thank you for any help you can give.
BorgeHi Norma Krantz is the name of the agent. Joh. Krantz was the general agent for the Dominion Line in 1883. This is a list of ships and the authorization of 1883. On our list of corresponding ship with the Angelo we find a confirmed connection with the S/S Sarnia departing Liverpool on May 24 and arriving to Quebec June 4.
