kmarsh	Thank you for the information. After a more research and help from others, I think tMaria was part of the Ole Jacobson family of Ringsaker. The family lived on a farm called Stensveen in Veldre and left Norway in 1872. I have found the family in Minnesota, USA, but I need to confirm that this is the family I am searching for. kmarsh	More research has revealed that the family in Minnesota that I was hoping was the family of my Marie Olsdatter/Olson is not the correct family. So I am again looking for Marie Olsdatter/Olson born 15 Nov 1856 (probably in Christiana) who left for America in 1873 or 1874.
