| Kingstedt | I'm having trouble finding my ancestor -Gustaf Kingstedt, Adolph and Albert. We have records that say he landed in Marquteet Michigan, USA. However, I habve no ship information. Some say he would have come through Christiansand, Norway as there were no ports to emmigrate fropm in Sweden.
There is a probability that he went to Hull and transfered from there to the USA? If so he would have hit an Eastern USA port. Are there one that were typical to stop at. I'm confusd how he would have made it up the Great Lakes too. Any thoughts that could help?
I have the lineage in the USA of about 50 people and about the same number in SWeden but the link between us is pending on who and how they came over.
