Majestic Liverpool 1901
mermaidtears	Hello: I am trying to find a passenger list for the ship Majestic which left Liverpool on July 3, 1901 and possibly arrived New York July 10-11, 1901. I have tried Ellis Island, and my "passenger" doesn't come up, although I know for fact they were on this vessel...have seen the manifest. (just need better copy) I looked at the NARA lists for this passenger list, but it doesn't actually say the name of the ship...only arrival dates seem to be available with the film #...and the date I found that was closest to what I found here was July 11, 1901...Any suggestions? Jo Anne Sadler	Did you search the Morse Ellis Island database: http://www.jewishgen.org/databases/eidb/ellis.html If you search under ship's it will show the Majestic arriving in New York on July 11.
mermaidtears	Thanks Jo Anne! It worked...and the link was good, and your awesome! Thanks for the help!!!! I've been searching for this family forever on their voyage over. I recently receieved word of the possible name of the ship...I would never have found this family otherwise. I had been checking under the thousand and one variations of spelling for the name Jonassen....the family was actually listed under their farm name and used it as a surname. Thanks again! Stacey
