FINDING INFORMATION ON SHIP'S CREW-CUNARD LINE
halve_lm	Are there british or other records that would list the crew members for a particular sailing? I am trying to confirm that Erik Nicolaisen (aka Thompson), b. 1856, was a steward on the S/S Umbria for the Nov. 21 to 29 1885 voyage - Liverpool to NY. I know from Norwegian census that Erik was in England for a time working as a steward. Larry
Borge	There are some crew records in the archive at Kew in England. As far as I know they are not on microfilm, so you have to go there to do research or hire a researcher to do it for you.
