| riggs | After posting my original query I thought it might be wise of me to mention the areas of Norway I have been researching, in case someone would like to share info.
My ancestors are from the Hafslo parish in sogn og fjordane.
Jorgen Johannesson and Christi Thomasdotter.His parents were Johannes Jorgenson -Mariefjaren,and Mari Nilsdotter-Krogen.A lot of the history is being covered in the Luster County history book series,which I would love to get my hands on.Johannes and Mari are as far back as I have gone,but I do have dates and place names if anyone needs them.Lars Oyane is the person I contact for the Luster County.
I think there are over 5 books completed on the Luster County.
And more to be completed by December 2005. |
