Where is Lakkegade?
cockatiel	I would like to know where in Norway Lakkegade is located. I have an address of Lakkegade 29 and I have to know what county or municipality of Norway it is so I can locate a church in the area for that address. I also need it for the 1875 census. Berta	Cockatiel! Here is a link to the city archive of Oslo: http://www.byarkivet.oslo.kommune.no/OBA/english.asp (english version) As I can see Lakkegade 29 does not exist in modern Oslo. jwiborg	Hi, Lakkegata 29 does not exist anymore. The building must have been demolished. But the street does of course... [:)], and that part of Oslo belongs to the district "Gamle Oslo". There is many churches in Oslo, and the districts have changed several times. Congregations have been divided or joined over the years, which makes it a bit difficult to track if you are not familiar with the area. It seems like Lakkegata have been under several congregations as well, but maybe Grønland church would be a good start...?
