| Lill | MY grandfathers uncle, Jens Johansen Gibostad, born 1853 in Lenvik Norway, survived the sinking of DS Norge in 1904. I have tried to find him and his children (Jacob, Johanne and Amalia Jensen) in Amerika whitout any luck. Can someone help me with tips on where to search?
I know that Jens Gibostad met Jacob in Minnesota in 1904.

Svartfjeld from Lenvik born 1853 going to Redwing (Goodhue county) Minnesota in 1904. He was traveling with Jensine, Einar, Albert, Anna, Erik and Bordanna. The last name used in America could be Johanson, Johnson, Jensen, Jenson, Gibostad so you have to try a lot of alternatives.

| inoican6 | I happened to search the internet for the Norge 1904 and found this website. I was so surpised to find Lill searching for the children of Jens Johansen. My great grandmother was Amalia. Her father survived the Norge and she lost her mother and siblings on the ship. I believe you are searching for us - descendents of Amalie. Please email me.
