Hallingbunads
mimmi2005	Is there enyone who has or know of enyone who has old hallingbunads? I want to come in contakt. Im working on a book, and want to find out if there is old bunads in US, and how they look and how they are made to compare with the ones whos made today.

NancyC	Again, I can recommend Anne Kløvnes Høidal's book, Bunads in America. PP. 110-116 contain descriptions and pictures of several old bunads from Hallingdal. Other chapters have descriptions and illustrations of parts of old bunads. You could also contact the organization Ladies of Valhall, 5740 Lance Street, San Diego, CA 92120, USA for assistance.
