TrondBaker Anton Dahl b. 1876 left Norway 1902 on S/S Hekla. His wife Thea O. Dahl b. 1874, sister Laura Dahl b. 1882 and children Leif and Helge left Norway 1903 on the same ship. They were to live at 910 Payne Ave, St. Paul, Minnesota. Does enyone have records of them after that?

Jo Anne SadlerIn the 1910 census, it says that Tea has 6 children, 3 living. They are living next door to a Christian Dahl & family, born Norway, immigrated 1904. Maybe a relative. Thief River Falls is also in Pennington County.
Jo Anne SadlerOn the SS Death Index, all three brothers last known residence was Baudette, Lake of the Woods, Minnesota: Ever Carl Dahl, born Ocober 7, 1904, died August 1971 Helge Dahl, born April 21, 1902, died April 1985 Paul Dahl, born January 27, 1915, died November 1979 Maybe this site can help with obituaries or information but it does not look like the Historical Society is open now: click here
TrondJean and Jo Ann Thank you, great news, looks like they made it in America! I will follow the links you provided. Laura Dahl b. 1882-07-29 was the one who kept contact with our family in Norway. However that contact ended before WW2 and there is no documentation survived. The only oral information is that she got a daughter called Margrethe Hegna b. 1907. Secondary info is that she lived in Des Moines or a place that sounds like that, but this is very vague.
Jo Anne SadlerHere is the link for the Pennington Historical Society cemetery & obituary index: http://pvillage.org/cemetery.asp It appears that Ever, Helge & Ever were not buried with spouses. Laura Hegna is in the 1920 census in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. The scan is extremely faint: Hartung (?) Hegna, 43, head, born Norway, bricklayer Laura, 37, wife, immigrated 1903, born Norway Four daughters, all born in Wisconsin Margaret, 12 Ruth, 10 Grace, 8 Ingeborg, 6
Jo Anne SadlerIn 1910 they are in Milwaukee, Wisconsin: Hartvig P. Hegna, 32, immigrated 1903, bricklayer, born Norway Laura, 28, born Norway Margrite L., 2, born Wisconsin Ruth A., 11/12, born Wisconsin Einar M., brother, 31, widowed, born Norway Kalburn E., 27, single, born Norway
Jo Anne SadlerHartvig and his two brothers, Einar and Emanuel all died in Los Angeles County, CA in the 1950's. click here
TrondWow, beeing just 24h search! Hartvig Hegna is Hartvig Pahlman Halvorsen from Kristiania working with his brother Einar Marinius Halvorsen as bricklayers in Moss, Norway 1900.
