I'm new to the research game but I have found some information about my heritage and it has made me hungry for more... later I will post what I've found so far and then hopefully we can fill in some spaces! For now the purpose of this post is I noticed some people seeking passenger list information and I just wanted to share how I found my grandparents... If you type in the address bar for Ellis Island you'll be directed to a website and there you will be given choices to join for a fee several family history sites BUT if you study it you will see an opportunity to research the site for free with only a registration! Being new to this I was amazed at how easy it was to locate my grandparents![:D] Hope this helps and I look forward to chatting more in the future.
