I am searching for my granddads sister, Mathea Martinsen (or Martinson). She was born i Norway 30 Aug 1879 by parents Martin Johannessen og Anne Kirstine Hansdatter. Her birthplace was Spydeberg, Ostfold.
She emigrated to USA after 1895 and I think before 1910 (may be later). I do not know where in USA she settled, but someone in her family means it was around Chicago.
Mathea died just after the World War 2 (1945-1950). Her first name could be written Matha, Martha, Marthea, Thea or something like this.
