Bark Brødrene & Kong Sverre descriptions?
Jon	Is there any more info available on these ships (description & picture) besides the basic info on this web site (year built, voyages, shipyard, ship line-J. A. Køhler, typical bark)? I have found my ggrandparents (came separetely prior to marriage) on the manifests, and would like to find more info on the ships. I checked the Shipslist.com but found nothing further. Thanks. Jon
Jo Anne Sadler	There were four separate barks named Kong Sverre and a ship, bark and brig named Brødrene. There is not alot of information available on the earlier barks and only paintings of them. Your best bet is to write to the Norwegian Maritime Museum: Norsk Sjøfartsmuseum Bygdøynesveien 37 0286 Oslo NORWAY I have had dealings with them and they respond right away and advise what is available and the cost.
