| Diane Nummy | Have no information on my maternal grandfather from Norway. Am trying to find relatives. I was told he was born about 1886 in Norway. Given same was supposedly: Salva Carlsen (Silva), emmigrated to USA ???? from Stavanger. I do know he was married to my Grandmother Albertina Grassel in San Francisco, California USA April 9, 1917. They had twins on October 31, 1917. Male: Silas d in childhood
female (my mother) still living in Boise, Idaho. He died in 1920s of tuberculosis. Any hints on where to start. I know records from Stavanger have been destroyed.
