| scanbar | I am new here and am searching for information about my grandfather, Carl Ludwig Emil Michelsen/Karl Ludvig Emil Mikkelsen, of Norway, who immigrated to the USA in 1890; also my grandmother, Anna Olson of Sweden in 1890. Family lore says they met on board ship.
I have some reason to believe that Carl took a Wilson Line ship, the S.S.Montebello, from Christiania to Hull in Oct of 1890. Further research has the S.S.Teutonic as a possible ship ftom Liverpool to Boston, Massachusetts. His destination was Chicago, Illinois.
Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated.
