I'll do this as an exception. Searching the Trondheim police records I did find your family. I recognized the Mule name as being close to Trondheim, at a place called Bynesset, so I expected to find them there.
You are right, they were on the S/S Salmo of the Wilson Line from Trondheim to Hull. Then from England they had tickets to travel on a Canadian Pacific Line ship, probably to Quebec. They bought their tickets in Trondheim, from the husband of my g-granfather's sister. Their final destination was Virginia, Minn.
